Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Temporary Supervisor - Analytics Engineer to support large-scale regulatory reporting and risk analytics projects within financial services. You will build data pipelines, design canonical data models, and ensure audit-ready documentation in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with business, risk, compliance, audit, and technology teams, develop historical data repositories, and enable robust Power BI reporting and executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Analytics Engineering/Data Engineering experience in regulated environments.
• Advanced SQL with complex transformations and performance tuning.
• ETL/ELT design across multiple source systems.
• Dimensional data modeling and canonical data models.
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Regulatory Reporting, or Audit.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data acquisition, ingestion, and staging processes for large-scale regulatory reporting and analytics programs.
• Develop an immutable historical data repository for accurate prior period recreation.
• Design and enhance canonical data models, reference data structures, and business classification frameworks.
• Build and maintain exception repositories for issue tracking, remediation, and reporting transparency.
• Implement data quality controls, validations, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Perform complex data analysis and root-cause investigations across multiple source systems.
• Create data lineage documentation and control evidence for audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, audit, and technology stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support SIT/UAT and production deployment and maintenance.
• Partner with reporting and visualization teams to develop datasets for Power BI and management reporting.
