Job summary

The Physicians' Clinic of Iowa is seeking a full-time Registration Specialist to join our busy practices and dedicated medical team. You will serve as the first point of contact, handling registrations and front-desk duties with a focus on accuracy and care.

Primary duties include greeting patients, collecting co-pays, answering phones, and verifying information, as well as overseeing the waiting area and smooth patient flow. No weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office with patient registration and scheduling.
• Familiar with medical insurance processes and confidentiality.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related computers.
• Commitment to patient care, teamwork and safety regulations.

• Previous experience in a medical office setting, patient registration, scheduling, and medical insurance preferred.
• Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
