Job summary

North Canyon Medical Center's Jerome Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant – Registration to perform clinical tasks and front-office registration, working with patients, providers and staff in Idaho to support high-quality patient care.

The role requires CMA/RMA or CNA certification, current BLS, and proficiency with EHRs. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Jerome Clinic.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or CNA in Idaho, or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• Must hold and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of clerical/front desk/medical office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EHRs and Windows-based systems required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service and patient relations expertise.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

This role is responsible for performing both clinical and front-office registration duties to ensure smooth operation and high-quality patient care at the North Canyon Jerome Clinic. The Medical Assistant – Registration works directly with patients, providers, and other clinic staff to perform clinical tasks within the Idaho Scope of Practice, as well as registration, scheduling, and customer service duties.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Idaho, or eligible to obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
• Must hold and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
