Job summary

North Canyon Network of Care is seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, or Orthopedic Tech to join our growing team in Idaho. You will provide technical, clinical, and clerical support to the provider and care team, delivering care per the care plan and preparing patients for procedures.

Ideal candidates are graduates of accredited MA/EMT programs or CNAs with certification, capable of handling chaotic environments, communicating clearly with patients, and coordinating care across

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in Idaho or Orthopedic Tech certification.
• Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
• Ability to demonstrate and maintain competency for job title and unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Excellent communication skills including oral and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability to work with patients’ growth and development needs across age groups.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho or hold a current Orthopedic Tech. certification.
• Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension/expression and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs particularly related to the age of patients in the unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.
