TrueNorth Wellness Services is seeking a Pre-Registration/Authorization Specialist in Hanover, PA. This full-time role involves coordinating new client registrations, verifying insurance details, and scheduling with credentialed providers.

The position emphasizes a strong focus on customer service, proficiency with electronic medical records, and collaboration across programs to ensure accurate benefits and timely payments. Clearances and mandated training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
• Prior experience with health insurance companies preferred.
• Experience with medical record systems and medical billing/coding preferred.
• Three clearances and mandated reporting training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients.
• Set up electronic medical records for new clients.
• Schedule new client appointments with providers and verify provider credentialing/insurance acceptance.
• Obtain, verify, and review accurate insurance benefit information with clients.
• Ensure payment for services prior to client services.
• Prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a multi-program team.
• Communicate effectively with clients and assist with transfers between providers.
• Check funding for all scheduled clients across programs and manage client statements.
