Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, patient registration, scheduling, healthcare administration, or a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient registration, or healthcare billing processes.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and teammates.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information.

• Register patients and maintain accurate demographic, insurance, and medical information.

• Support daily clinic operations through administrative tasks, record management, and office coordination.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow established scheduling, registration, and documentation procedures.
• Resolve patient questions or concerns and escalation issues appropriately to ensure timely service.
• Assist with maintaining office supplies, equipment, and an organized front office environment.

As a Registration Coordinator , you’ll serve as the first point of contact for patients while helping ensure each visit is welcoming, organized, and efficient. You’ll partner with providers and clinical teams to coordinate appointments, verify insurance, support patient communications, and keep daily clinic operations running smoothly—all while delivering the outstanding service that defines the OrthoVirginia experience.

What You’ll Do

Compensation Range for this position:

$16.92 - $25.38

Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
