Job summary

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kirby Glen is seeking a Registration Clerk to interface with patients, families, physicians and staff. You will admit patients, process paperwork, and update demographics in the system. You will also collect monies due and document in the billing system, handling funds per office procedure.

Cross training for other Business Office positions is a possibility, offering opportunities to meet new people and build professional relationships with physician offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate the office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
• Good communication skills.
