Northridge Surgery Center in Durango is hiring a Registration Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. This role ensures smooth check-in, accurate data entry, and friendly, professional assistance in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Hours are 5:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Previous front desk/registration experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
• Longevity in past roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
• Verify insurance information and enter data accurately into registration systems.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized reception area and support team as needed.

As a Registrar, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and their families. Your role is instrumental in creating a positive impression and ensuring that all administrative tasks are efficiently managed.
