The ED Registrar acts as the initial contact for patients and visitors to the Emergency Department. Registers patients in EPIC and/or EMTRAC systems. Secures signatures on consent, authorization, and financial agreement forms. Validates patient insurance information and ensures that billing information for technical and professional billing is complete and accurate.
