BayCare in Lutz, FL is seeking a Registrar to join our patient access team. You will handle registration, check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and cashier duties with a focus on service excellence.

The role requires proficiency in at least three modalities (one must be Registration) within six months, with potential for advancement through the Registrar Career Ladder. Shifts may rotate and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient registration or admitting preferred.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and take call as needed.

Role Overview

The Registrar is responsible for any of the following:

• Registration
• Customer Service
• Insurance Verification
• Scheduling
• Bed Control
• Cashier
• Reception

The Registrar must also demonstrate proficiency in at least three of these modalities (one must be Registration) within 6 months of hire and complete additional modalities within the department which may qualify the team member for career advancement (Registrar Career Ladder). Additionally, Registrars may be required to rotate shift periodically and take call. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
