The ideal candidate thrives in a busy general practice, is client-focused, and brings clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills to elevate patient care. This is a full-time role with a 4/10 schedule and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing RVT in Colorado.
• Proficient in anesthesia induction, monitoring, recovery.
• Proficient in surgical assistance and aseptic technique.
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis and radiography.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Radiology positioning and safety protocols.
• Medication administration and dose calculations.
• Laboratory sample collection and in-house testing.
• Safe, low-stress patient handling and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Assist anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist in surgery.
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients.
• Identify patient concerns and support case management.
• Educate clients and build strong client relationships.
