Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado.
• Proficiency in: client communication and education; anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery; surgical assistance and aseptic technique; dental prophylaxis and dental radiography; venipuncture and IV catheter placement; radiology positioning and safety; medication administration and accurate drug calculations; laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing; accurate medical record documentation; safe, low-stress patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assisting in surgery.
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography.
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital.
• Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
