Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as RVT Supervisor! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled RVT with leadership and management experience.

In this role, you will provide leadership and direct supervision to our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants, alongside general day-to-day technician duties. Supervisor responsibilities will focus on delegation of tasks to optimize workflow, ensuring safety and medical standards are being met, management of inventory, staff scheduling, and providing guidance, training, and mentorship to the support team. This is an ideal position for those with high emotional intelligence, the ability to cultivate positive culture, and excellent time management skills.

This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule and flexible availability needed Monday through Saturday to meet the practice's needs.

Full-time benefits and compensation:

• Compensation: $34-38 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: $500 the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set:

• 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Previous experience as a supervisor or manager with direct reports
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Surgical caseload management
• Dentistry including prophy, polish, charting and extractions
• Team training and mentorship
• Inventory management
