Job summary

North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital in Cornelius, NC is seeking an experienced RVT, CVT, or LVT to join a collaborative, multi-doctor team. This role focuses on nursing care, anesthesia oversight, and supporting surgeons and hospitalized patients.

You will mentor veterinary assistants, contribute to client education, maintain records, and uphold Fear Free handling. We offer a 4-5 day work week, weekday off, CE opportunities, relocation bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Candidate should hold RVT/CVT/LVT credentials or be eligible.
• 2-4+ years of veterinary hospital experience required.
• Strong clinical and patient-care skills essential.
• Experience with anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics or hospitalized patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and treatment for veterinary patients.
• Support veterinarians during appointments, procedures, surgery, and hospital care.
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Administer medications and educate clients on care and follow-up.
