Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists in Loveland, CO is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician for Overnight ER/ICU; fast-paced emergencies, triage, monitor hospitalized pets, run diagnostics, administer treatments, and support specialty departments.

Ideal candidate confident in IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring; strong communication for client education. We offer sign-on bonus, benefits, and overnight shift differential.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with current license.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in a veterinary practice with increasing responsibility.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and triage.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DEA and animal health regulations.

We’relookingforaskilled,andteam-orientedOvernightEmergency/ICUTechnicianwhothrives in a fast-paced emergency and critical care environment.

This role involves caring for unstable and critically ill patients, triaging emergencies, monitoring hospitalized pets, running diagnostics, administering treatments, and providing high-quality nursing care.Thetechnicianwillalsosupportspecialtydepartmentsincludinginternalmedicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, and radiology.

The ideal candidate is confident in IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and medication administration. Strong communications skills are equally important, as this role includes admitting and discharging patients and providing compassionate client education and support.

Administertreatmentsandoverseecare,cleanlinessandfeedingofpatients.

Administerfluidtherapyandbloodproducts.

Assistwithgeneralanesthesiaandmedical,imagingandsurgicalprocedures.

Perform specimen collection and laboratory tests, including blood work, microbiology, urinalysisandfecalanalysis.Completeadministrativetasksforoutsidelaboratorywork.

Keeptreatmentrecordsuptodate,andtheappropriateveterinariansandstaffinformed of any changes.

Communicatewithclientsandotherinvolvedpartiesregardingthestatusandplanforall assigned hospitalized patients.

Clean,maintainandsterilizeinstruments,equipmentandsupplies.

Assurethatallequipmentisfunctioningandingoodrepair.
