Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists in Loveland, CO is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician for ER overnights. The role focuses on caring for unstable and critically ill patients, triage, monitoring, diagnostics, treatments, and nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

The ideal candidate will have RVT credentials, 2+ years of practice experience, strong IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential is required.
• 2+ years of recent experience in a veterinary practice with increasing responsibility.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

This role involves caring for unstable and critically ill patients, triaging emergencies, monitoring hospitalized pets, running diagnostics, administering treatments, and providing high-quality nursingcare.Thetechnicianwillalsosupportspecialtydepartmentsincludinginternalmedicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, and radiology.

DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Hospital

• Monitorstatusandwell-beingofallassignedhospitalizedpatients.
• Administertreatmentsandoverseecare,cleanlinessandfeedingofpatients.

• Assistwithgeneralanesthesiaandmedical,imagingandsurgicalprocedures.
• Perform specimen collection and laboratory tests, including blood work, microbiology, urinalysisandfecalanalysis.Completeadministrativetasksforoutsidelaboratorywork.
• Keeptreatmentrecordsuptodate,andtheappropriateveterinariansandstaffinformed of any changes.
