Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dermatology-focused team in Columbus, OH. You will provide hands-on support with dermatology treatments, lab testing, patient intake, monitoring, and discharge, helping patients receive timely, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required.
  • Strong anesthesia skills (monitoring and interpreting vitals to assist doctors).
  • Positive work attitude, self-motivation, and good communication.
  • Excellent organization and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient care throughout visits, including dermatology treatments and laboratory testing.
  • Provide patient intake, monitoring, and discharge.
  • Assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention through clinical signs and data.

Dermatology for Animals is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Columbus, OH.

About You

You’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit. This impactful work includes hands‑on support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing, as well as essential services such as patient intake, monitoring and discharge.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 1 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self‑motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $25 – $30 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
