Stonyridge Veterinary Service in Troy, OH is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Thrive Pet Healthcare partner team. You will support veterinarians, educate clients, and help maintain smooth patient flow across a busy primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary technician (RVT) licensure required.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures and maintain patient flow.
• Communicate with clients about health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Maintain medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history and manage medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep exam rooms and labs clean and organized.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to complete our team!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• With each hospital function,assistveterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow.
• Assistwith surgeries and proceduresin accordance withyour state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance onThrive Membershipoptions, medications, andadditionaltreatments.
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Registered Veterinary technician (RVT) licensure required
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
