Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician for a fast-paced ICU/ER role. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a starting pay range of $22–$40 per hour, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

An annual education stipend and ongoing training opportunities are provided to support your professional growth. Responsibilities include triage, CPR, IV catheter placement, ventilator care, and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU and ER/Triage is desirable.
• This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician!

We are now offering a Sign-On Bonus for eligible RVTs

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Schedule: Both weekday & weekend shifts available

• We offer up to a $500 annual stipend for continued education**

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

• Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For Example

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.00 Shift Differential

Our emergency service is growing and we are seeking to add Registered Veterinary Technicians to our team. Experience in both ICU and ER/Triage desired. This is a fast paced environment with the potential to work in tandem with our specialty services. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. If you have a desire to grow in the field alongside a dedicated team of tenured veterinary nurses.

As a Veterinary Technician, You Will
