Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Sandy Springs, GA is hiring a Relief Veterinary Technician to join our emergency and specialty care team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will perform triage, obtain histories, assist with CPR, place IVs and catheters, monitor ventilator cases, and work with a skilled team to deliver remarkable care.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVs and advanced catheters (jugular, central lines, PICC)
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Collaborate with technicians and assistants to deliver advanced care
• Mentor and train other staff
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite with their owners

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a Veterinary Technician, You Will

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
