Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital in the Ultrasound department seeks a Registered Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures and educate patients about the process. You will assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures and may train or evaluate new or student sonographers.

The role is per diem with variable shifts; ARDMS active status and CPR certification are required, and the team provides education and support within a patient-centered imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
• Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. ARDMS renewal must be completed within 30 days prior to its expiration.
• CPR certification
