Job summary

ProMedica Physicians is seeking a Diagnostic Sonographer to join the Obstetrics Gynecology team at the Health and Wellness Center. The role involves performing echocardiography 2D, M-Mode, color flow Doppler studies and documenting findings.

The ideal candidate will hold RDMS/ARDMS registration or be eligible, have a high school diploma, and be able to complete required certifications within six months. Per diem schedule, with on-site responsibilities and patient preparation duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• RDMS/ARDMS registration or ARDMS eligibility required; eligibility must be fulfilled within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography 2D, M-Mode and color flow Doppler studies.
• Document and communicate important patient and exam information.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures.
