Job summary

ProMedica's Monroe Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations and provide patient education. You will assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures and may train or evaluate student sonographers.

The role is Per Diem with flexible, variable shifts and on-site work. Candidates must be ARDMS-registered, hold CPR certification, and have completed an approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• ARDMS registration as a diagnostic sonographer is required and active.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures as directed by the physician.
• Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and address questions.
• Assist the physician with ultrasound-guided procedures and other tasks as needed.
• May train/evaluate new or student sonographers.
