Language & Literacy Academy for Learning in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered School Nurse to join our team. This full-time role supports student health and safety in an academic setting.

You will provide first aid, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, and maintain health records to help students learn. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Ability to manage student health needs and emergencies.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid and urgent care.
• Manage chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes) and ensure student health needs are met.
• Develop individualized healthcare plans and safety protocols.
• Safely administer medications and update health records.
• Maintain accurate immunization and health documentation per state regulations.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and healthcare providers.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate care.
