Language & Literacy Academy for Learning in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered School Nurse to join our team. This full-time role supports student health and safety in an academic setting.

You will provide first aid, manage chronic conditions, administer medications, and maintain health records to help students learn. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid and urgent care.
• Manage chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes) and ensure student health needs are met.

What will you do every day as a registered school nurse?

In this nursing role, you'll provide immediate first aid, manage chronic conditions like asthma or diabetes, and ensure every student's health needs are met so they can focus on learning. You'll develop individualized healthcare plans, safely administer medications, and maintain accurate health and immunization records in compliance with state regulations. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and healthcare providers, translating medical needs into actionable care while responding confidently to emergencies.

When will you work?

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
