Language & Literacy Academy for Learning in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered School Nurse to join our team. This full-time role lets you apply clinical skills in an academic setting to support student health and well‑being.

You will provide first aid, manage conditions, develop health plans, administer medications, and maintain health records in compliance with state rules. Work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; RN license and background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Ability to manage student health needs and emergencies.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

WHAT WILL YOU DO EVERY DAY AS A REGISTERED SCHOOL NURSE?

In this nursing role, you'll provide immediate first aid, manage chronic conditions like asthma or diabetes, and ensure every student's health needs are met so they can focus on learning. You'll develop individualized healthcare plans, safely administer medications, and maintain accurate health and immunization records in compliance with state regulations. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and healthcare providers, translating medical needs into actionable care while responding confidently to emergencies.

WHEN WILL YOU WORK?

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
