Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public health, or related field with 3–5 years relevant experience (Registered Sanitarian).
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public health, or related field with 1–2 years relevant experience (Environmental Health Inspector).
• DPH certification in food service inspection.
• Registered Sanitarian license issued by CT DPH; Phase I & II subsurface sewage certification (preferred for IE).

Aufgaben

• Conduct health inspections and environmental health field work, including food establishments, cosmetology inspections, and temporary food events.
• Oversee subsurface sewage disposal and provide enforcement of health codes with education-focused approach.
• Report to the Chief Sanitarian; coordinate with health district on inspections and program delivery.
