Job summary

Town of Mansfield is seeking a full-time Registered Sanitarian or Environmental Health Inspector to perform health inspections and related environmental health fieldwork in our district. The position reports to the Chief Sanitarian and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Overview

We are currently recruiting to fill one vacancy with either a Registered Sanitarian OR Environmental Health Inspectorto conduct health inspections, and other environmental health field work.

This full-time position will be responsible for performing work in the area of environmental health; including, food establishment inspections, cosmetology inspections, and temporary food event inspections, and subsurface sewage disposal oversight. This position reports directly to the Chief Sanitarian.

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, with the ability to effectively enforce health codes with a compassionate, educational approach.
