Salary Ranges: $67,146 to $90,016 – Registered Sanitarian
$46,478 to $62,745 – Environmental Health Inspector
We are currently recruiting to fill one vacancy with either a Registered Sanitarian OR Environmental Health Inspector to conduct health inspections, and other environmental health field work. This full-time position will be responsible for performing work in the area of environmental health; including, food establishment inspections, cosmetology inspections, and temporary food event inspections, and subsurface sewage disposal oversight. This position reports directly to the Chief Sanitarian.

A current DPH certification in food service inspection, a Registered Sanitarian license issued by the CT DPH, and phase 1 & 2 subsurface sewage certification. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, with the ability to effectively enforce health codes with a compassionate, educational approach.
