Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System seeks a Registered Respiratory Care Therapist to perform RT duties and participate in education programs. You will evaluate modality efficacy, interpret data, and communicate clearly with patients and staff, delivering safe care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Requirements include NBRC certification, MO license, NICU/ICU credentials (NRP, ACLS, BLS), and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Two-year AMA approved respiratory care program (CoARC-accredited) required.
• High school diploma required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC certification.
• Missouri license as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• NRP credential for NICU; ACLS for adult ICUs/ER; BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of related respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a Registered Respiratory Care Therapist.
• Contributes to in-service education and orientation programs.
• Evaluates modality efficacy and protocols with care teams.
• Interprets data and communicates effectively with patients and staff.
• Provides age-appropriate care from neonate to geriatric patients.
