Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care. You will administer therapies, operate ventilators, and collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key requirements include an associate degree in respiratory care, active RCP license, NBRC credentials, and BLS certification. This full‑time, 0.9 FTE role offers a $35.50–$53.25 hourly pay range with a 36-hour workweek and robust benefits.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree or higher.
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care per established standards.
• Operate ventilators and other respiratory therapy equipment across units.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prescribed therapies.
• Educate patients on therapy goals, techniques, and self-care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure rapid response to safety issues.
