Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Care Therapist to perform the full scope of respiratory therapy duties under direction of leadership. You will participate in education and orientation programs, evaluate modality efficacy, and ensure communication and care that meets patient needs across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a two (2) year AMA approved program or equivalent. Accredited by CoARC for respiratory care- required
• High School Diploma-required
• Minimum of one (1) year related respiratory care experience- preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of a Certified Respiratory Therapist under supervision of Manager, Director and VP
• Acts in in-service education and orientation programs
• Evaluates respiratory care modality efficacy and protocol programs
• Communicates findings effectively, verbal and written; performs basic math; uses problem solving; builds interpersonal and organizational skills
• Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient (neonate to geriatric) and assesses data to ensure safe quality care
