Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Care Therapist to perform RT duties, participate in staff education, and assist in protocol development. The role requires NBRC certification, Missouri licensure, and NICU/ICUACLS readiness.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a two (2) year AMA approved program or equivalent. Accredited by CoARC for respiratory care- required
• High School Diploma-required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist per NBRC certification exam
• Missouri state license as Respiratory Care Practitioner
• NRP credential for NICU
• ACLS credential for adult ICUs/ER
• BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of a Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Participates in in-service education and orientation programs
• Evaluates modality efficacy and protocol programs with Respiratory Care Specialist
• Interprets data and communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Provides age-appropriate care for neonate to geriatric patient
