Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN shift to support a fast-paced clinical team. You will perform evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols.

Ideal candidates have a respiratory care program credential, current BLS/ACLS, NBRC registration, and Texas licensure, with at least six months of experience; NICU experience preferred. This hospital serves Midlothian and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Texas Medical Board licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• NBRC registration.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
