Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing according to physician orders.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Respiratory Care Program, BLS/ACLS, Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, and at least 6 months of experience; NICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred.
