Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN role. The position involves a 12-hour shift weekly and rotating weekend coverage in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, Texas licensure, NBRC registration, and a minimum of 6 months experience. NICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRNposition, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based protocols.
Your Job Requirements:
