Job summary

Respiratory Therapist PRN position at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and established protocols.

Responsibilities include clear communication, teamwork, accountability, and ongoing professional growth while focusing on improving patient experiences. This role requires 12 hours per week with Monday–Friday coverage and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support— must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
