Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performs diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitors patients on mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, perform diagnostic procedures, administer therapies, assist with airway placement, manage ventilation, monitor responses, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Associate Degree.
