Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performs diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitors patients on mechanical ventilation, adhering to standards and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document patient assessments, conduct diagnostic procedures, administer therapies, assist with airway placements, initiate and monitor mechanical ventilation, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
• Associate Degree or higher.
