Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders. The role includes consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing and nursing staff.

You will perform all duties assigned in a high-demand clinical setting. The position emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient engagement, and adherence to NBRC standards and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; PALS for ER staff if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
