Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Wayne site. This full-time night shift position provides 36 hours per week (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified external hires.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Respiratory Therapist License – State of Michigan.
• NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders.
• Participates in educating patients, students, staff and physicians.
• Provides technical support for all equipment related to Respiratory Care.
• Assists with general department functions.
