Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton seeks a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift. The role supports cardiopulmonary care in a Level II Trauma Center and critical care units, with a 20-hour per pay period schedule.

Responsibilities include delivering diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services, educating patients and staff, and maintaining equipment, with a $5,000 sign-on for qualified external hires.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• RRT NBRC eligibility required.
• MI state licensure required upon hire.
• NBRC CRT registry required upon hire.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services.
• Assists physicians in diagnosis and management of cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Educates patients, students, staff and physicians.
• Provides technical support for respiratory care equipment.
• Assists with general department functions.
