Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Wayne location. The role involves providing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services in collaboration with physicians to improve patient outcomes.

You will educate patients and staff, support respiratory equipment, and participate in department activities. This full-time night shift encompasses 36 hours weekly with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and Michigan state licensure required.
• NBRC registry and BLS certification required at hire.
• Demonstrated ability to educate patients and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in managing patients.
• Participates in education of patients, students, staff and physicians.
• Provides technical support for all respiratory care equipment and assists with department functions.
