Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care across respiratory therapy services per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for medical and nursing teams.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential; PALS for ER, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
