Mercy is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time evening, night, weekend, and holiday coverage. You will deliver direct patient care per physician orders and collaborate with the medical team to optimize respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities include evaluating therapy effectiveness and serving as a resource for physicians and nursing staff. Requires CoArc-approved respiratory care education, current RCP license, and NBRC-registered RRT credential; PALS is required in ER; ACLS

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by NBRC; PALS required for ER staff.
• Physical demands include push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Equipment used includes all appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: ACLS.
• Preferred Experience: Critical care experience.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
• Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
