Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team. Duties will be assigned as needed.

The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and benefits starting day one, with a focus on compassionate care and collaboration in a healing ministry environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential; PALS for ER if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
• Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Critical care experience.
