Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care in line with hospital guidelines. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring safety and regulatory quality.

Full-time day shifts with rotating weekends, including three 12-hour shifts per week, provide opportunities to educate patients and families, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support advanced procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program completion.
• Licenses and certifications including Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• No prior experience required; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively through documentation and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provides education on respiratory treatments to patients, families, students, and staff, utilizing diverse learning methods.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following established protocols, applying clinical knowledge for assessment and troubleshooting.
• Supports advanced skills such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep studies, and BLS as needed.
• Maintains accountability for ongoing learning and multitasks efficiently.
