Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive pediatric respiratory care in a leading hospital environment. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical expertise, and teamwork in alignment with hospital guidelines.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, educate families and staff, and collaborate with the healthcare team while maintaining safety and quality standards. A strong commitment to ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CoARC-accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT).
• Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team, including documentation and handoffs.
• Educating patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures.
• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures per established standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Applying advanced skills such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab procedures.
• Maintaining professional growth through continuous learning and feedback.

Education

Associate degree or CoARC-accredited program in Respiratory Therapy

RRT licensure

Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification

Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
