Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Full-time Day Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its team. This role offers a $10K sign-on bonus and night shift options as applicable. The RRT will provide respiratory care to adults and neonates, including ABG, PFTs, and ventilator support.

The candidate should be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, with TBLS, ACLS, NRP/PALS within 1 year, NBRC registration, and a Texas license. Prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.

Responsabilités

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen delivery, aerosol therapy, IPPB, and ventilation support.
• Performs diagnostic procedures: ABG analysis, pulse oximetry, PFTs, ECGs.
• Conducts bedside assessments with patient history and chart review.
• Interprets CXR, ABG, and PFT data to guide care.
• Maintains, cleans, and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment and supplies.
• Ensures infection control and safety practices are followed.
