Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, following physician orders and consulting on the effectiveness of therapy. The role acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care, and duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential.

Formación

• Must hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by NBRC.
• PALS is required for coworkers in the Emergency Room.

Responsabilidades

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
